DANIEL ZACARIOTTI

I’m Daniel Zacariotti, a film director and creative working at the intersection of cinema, politics, and queer aesthetics. Alongside my professional practice, I’m pursuing a PhD in Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick, under the supervision of Prof. Karl Schoonover and Dr. Tiago de Luca.

My research explores how contemporary Brazilian queer cinema challenges and subverts fascist narratives, positioning film as a powerful tool for cultural resistance and LGBTQIA+ advocacy.
